Little Known Fact: Courtney is a certified Drum Major
While obtaining her Bachelors Degree in Music Performance at the University of Toronto, Courtney Lambert could be heard playing with such ensembles as the Hannaford Street Youth Band, the Intrada Brass Band, the Toronto Youth Wind Ensemble, the Etobicoke Philharmonic and the Huronia Symphony.
In 2005 she performed in “the Enchanted Forest”, the ninth chapter in Murray R Schafer’s the Patria.
Courtney completed her Masters in Music Performance at Northwestern University in Evanston Illinois, studying under Rex Martin.
She is an active freelancer, playing with various groups, such as the Hannaford Street Silver Band. She also has had the opportunity to travel across Canada from Vancouver BC in the west, to Halifax NS in the east and Iqaluit in the north with the Naval Reserve playing both the euphonium and the tuba.
